Hi, my name is Julia.
I am an illustrator and comic artist.
I live and work in Berlin with my personal assistant Pina Bausch who also happens to be my dog.

The main goal of my work is to present facts
and information in a comprehensible way through visual storytelling and make it accessible to a
wider audience.
My focus is on non-fiction comics, science communication, and editorial illustrations.

In addition, I write and draw visual essays and

comic books on fictional and non-fictional topics.

I am currently writing on my second longform comic.

I taught illustration and comics as guest lecturer at HS Mainz and Freie Kunstakademie Frankfurt and can be booked for workshops.
